Art
You demand a serious advanced art program, and Brooklyn College delivers.
You're looking to take your art education to the next level, whether it be in drawing and painting, digital art, printmaking, photography, sculpture, or art history. Our graduate program has a host of resources to help you—internationally recognized studio faculty members whose works appear in such prestigious museums as the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Museum of Modern Art, distinguished scholars in art history, our specialized art library, and courses that range from Western to non-Western and contemporary to traditional. We prepare teachers, painters, photographers, critics, archivists, museum curators, cartoonists, and more. You will have easy access to both our on-campus studios and workspaces and New York's great museums and countless galleries. And just before you graduate, you'll show your work in our annual M.F.A. Thesis Exhibition that attracts attendees from all over the tri-state area.
