Major personalities and developments in the architecture of Europe and the United States. Major architects: Wright, Gropius, Mies van der Rohe, Taut, Le Corbusier, Aalto. Major movements: Functionalism, Futurism, Constructivism, Expressionism, the Bauhaus movement, de Stijl.
Prerequisite: Art 1050 [1.3] or Core Studies 2.1 or Core Curriculum 1120 [1.2].
