2 hours lecture, 2 hours laboratory; 3 credits
Study of animal remains from archaeological sites, methods of recovery, identification, and analysis. Special emphasis placed on natural and social environments, formation processes, subsistence strategies and leoenvironments.
Prerequisite: one of the following: Anthropology 1100 or 1200 or 1300 or 1400 or a lower-tier Core course or permission of the chairperson.
