Introduction to major ideas and models of evolution; emphasis on genetic mechanisms, natural selection, and other processes in explaining structures and functions of individuals and populations; current ideas to account for the biodiversification of life on earth. (Not open to students who have completed Biology 3007W [38.1W] or Biology 4080 .)
Prerequisite: Biology 3011; either a) 1002, or b) 2073 and either 1072 or 1071.
