A note on General Chemistry Laboratory Manual for Fall 2016

Two laboratory manuals for different courses have the same author. To avoid confusion, we give the details below:

General Chemistry Course  Laboratory Manual   Comment
CHEM 1100, 2050, 2100 Kobrak, "Experiments in General Chemistry 3rd ed.”, Dubuque, IA, Kendall-Hunt, 2012. This is not a change from prior semesters. Students continuing in Chem 2100 may use the same manual as they have been using.
CHEM 1040 Kobrak, “Laboratory Manual: General Chemistry for Health Professions”, Dubuque, IA, Kendall-Hunt, 2016. This is a new manual. You must use this manual, because the manual for 1100/2050/2100 does not contain all of the necessary experiments.

Both manuals will be on sale at the Brooklyn College bookstore before the start of classes. They may be available at online sellers as well, but delivery dates for those vendors are not guaranteed.
