Application of physiological concepts to health and life. The mechanisms and control systems that allow for functional harmony. Systemic approach to the physiology of bone, muscle, nerve, special senses, circulation, respiration, digestion, metabolism, the endocrine glands, and reproduction. This course is the same as Health and Nutrition Sciences 2300 [22.71]. (Not open to students who are enrolled in or have completed Biology 6.1 or 6.2.)
Prerequisite: one of the following: Biology 1, 3, Chemistry 0.4, 1100 [1], 1.5, 1040 [5], Core Studies 7.1, 8.1.
