Doctoral Rotation Projects:
Theoretical research is carried out on number of topics in nuclear physics, including intermediate energy physics, nuclear forces, nucleon-nucleon and pion-nucleon interactions, nuclear Bremsstrahlung and neutrino production from nucleon-nucleon scattering. Research on the development of a new approach to solve quantum problems is also actively pursued. Bremsstrahlung research focuses on nucleon-nucleon, nucleon-nucleus and pion-nucleon bremsstrahlung processes using both relativistic and nonrelativistic approaches. Current research activities involve the following projects: (1) Meson exchange current effects in the neutron-proton bremsstrahlung process; (2) anomalous magnetic moment effects in nucleon-nucleon bremsstrahlung; (3) determination of the magnetic moments of the rho meson and the delta(+)(1232)-resonance using the bremsstrahlung technique; (4) neutral-pion-production from proton-proton scattering near threshold; (5) neutrino production from nucleon-nucleon scattering.
