Conferences, Seminars and Symposiums
Dr. Shlomo Silman and I submitted a proposal to the Global Health and Innovation Conference to be held at Yale University, April 13-14. The proposal for a "pitch" was accepted. This is the world's leading and largest global health conference, with professionals from all 50 states and more than 55 countries. It was a very competitive process; the proposal was accepted. We are thinking about beginning a health initiative in developing countries. The World Health Organization never addressed the issue of otitis media with effusion and its impact in developing countries where the incidence of OME is greater than in European countries. Physicians in developing countries have written about the impact of OME that is exacerbated by the incidence of HIV and other diseases. (Conferences, Seminars and Symposiums: Invited Talk) 2013
