Mayer Lab

The Sociology Department boasts the most beautiful computer lab on campus. It is a fitting tribute to our friend and colleague, Professor Egon Mayer. The lab contains 18 new Dell computers with SPSS and SAS statistical software, as well as the usual office and Internet software. The teacher workstation controls the high-resolution projector and theater-sized screen. The lab is used as a classroom for our methods courses and research seminars, as well as some electives, and is available other times for sociology students as a comfortable place to work on assignments. The lab also includes a lounge area where students can meet and relax.
