Jason Thompson's research interests relate primarily to different aspects of interpersonal communication and communication pedagogy in various contexts. In recent years, he has conducted studies with regard to social support, communication privacy management, compliance gaining techniques, intrinsic/extrinsic motivation and teaching strategies used by educators.
