Graduate Interdisciplinary Programs
Our master of arts in liberal studies is an interdisciplinary program that takes the broadest approach possible to the study of liberal arts and sciences. Eighteen of the 30 credits required for the M.A. include courses in the concept of human nature and participation in symposia. You can take the remaining 12 credits as electives in a wide variety of disciplines, including, among others, fine arts, history, literature, religion and sociology. Whether you enroll in our program to broaden a highly technical or specialized undergraduate education or to embark on a career that values a strong liberal arts background, the graduate degree you earn here will be one of the most important investments you’ll ever make.
