Two comedies by Aristophanes and/or Menander. Close analysis of language, meter, and dramatic structure. Survey of modern critical perspectives. Students may take this course for credit twice but may not repeat the same texts.
Prerequisite: Greek 2019 [1.9] or 3012 .
