The comic mode in dramatic and nondramatic forms of literature. Aesthetic, philosophical, and psychological theories of comedy. This course is the same as English 3184 [50.2]. (Not open to students who have completed English 58.)
Prerequisite: English 1010 [1] or 1.7.
