Since July 1, 2009, Stephanie Walker has been the chief librarian and executive director of Academic Information Technology at Brooklyn College. Before assuming these duties, she had been the acting chief librarian since February 2008 and the associate librarian for Information Services at Brooklyn College from August 2007 to February 2008. Before coming to Brooklyn, she held positions as the manager of Collection Services at the Countway Library, serving Harvard University's schools of Medicine, Dentistry and Public Health; university librarian (and dean) at Mount Saint Vincent University in Halifax, Nova Scotia; and faculty librarian for the faculty of Dentistry of the University of Toronto.
