Development of reading and analytical skills in French. Short, authentic texts, both literary and nonliterary, representing diverse contemporary styles and genres. Discussions and frequent writing assignments using a variety of approaches and supplementary materials available in the multimedia laboratory. May be taken concurrently with or after French 2018 or 2024.
Prerequisite: French 1030 or permission of the chairperson.
