Departmental Honors, Awards and Scholarships
Every year the Department of Philosophy gives out thousands of dollars in scholarships and awards. For information on how to apply, please consult the department.
Honors and award information for the spring 2013 term is now available. This information can also be found on the table opposite the Philosophy Department, 3308 Boylan Hall. We encourage you to participate and apply for these honors and awards. If you have any questions, feel free to stop by the department.
Honors in Philosophy
Requirements:
- at least a 3.50 index in philosophy courses;
- at least three credits of honors work in philosophy; and
- recommendation by a vote of the Philosophy Department.
