Issues relating to the integration of virtue and spiritual values such as creativity, integrity, social responsibility, economic justice, and environmental stewardship into the workplace and marketplace. Changing the corporate culture, importance of the mission statement, and leadership styles. Research on happiness and the role that meaningful work plays in happiness. Real life examples and cases to illustrate concepts and issues. This course is the same as Economics 40.8.
Prerequisite: Philosophy 3314  or permission of the chairperson.
