Study of gender politics and policy around the globe. Examination of women's citizenship and impact of gender on public policy and of public policy on gender in a range of societies. Exploration of the gendered foundations and impacts of the international processes of globalization, militarization, and democratization. Exposure to several types of political analysis such as political ethnography and feminist comparative policy. (This course is the same as Women's Studies 3357 [77.3].)
Prerequisites: Political Science *1002 [1.7] or Women Studies 1001 [12].
