Department Requirements

A program of 15 credits in Puerto Rican and Latino studies; Puerto Rican and Latino Studies 1001 and 12 elective credits including one seminar in Puerto Rican and Latino Studies 4510 or 4615 through 5710, each completed with a grade of C or higher. Students should confer with a departmental adviser to plan an appropriate sequence of courses.
With permission of the departmental curriculum committee, appropriate PRLS course substitutions are allowed in the minor under special circumstances.
