Guidance for Applicants With International Transcripts
International transcripts must be evaluated by a professional agency accredited by the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES). Evaluations should include a course-by-course analysis indicating the type of degree received, the U.S. equivalency of the degree, the graduation date and a cumulative grade point average. This will help us understand your educational background and academic credentials.
To apply, contact an evaluation agency and request an official evaluation report. Allow plenty of time, especially if you are currently residing outside of the United States and require a student visa. Request two transcripts from your university. Arrange for one transcript to be sent to the evaluation agency, and the other to be sent directly from your university to the Office of Graduate Admissions.
