Filmmaker Paul Mazursky '51 passed away peacefully on June 30. A groundbreaking director and screenwriter, Mazursky is best known for his incisive portrayals of the sociopolitical changes occurring in the United States during the 1960s and 1970s in such films as Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice and An Unmarried Woman. Mazursky was recently honored at the 2014 Best of Brooklyn gala. The entire Brooklyn College community mourns the passing of our esteemed alumnus.
