Filming on Campus
Brooklyn College’s 35-acre campus — consistently ranked as one of the most beautiful in the United States by the Princeton Review — provides a variety of locations for all your filming needs: still photography, episodic television programs and feature films. Not only will you find meticulously landscaped grounds that provide a luxurious green oasis in the heart of Brooklyn, but also a wide variety of architectural styles ranging from classic neo-Georgian of the 1930s to our newest 2009 edifice.
Interior spaces include lecture halls, classrooms, science laboratories, computer centers, state-of-the-art fitness facilities, library reading rooms and stacks, executive offices, underground industrial facilities and many others.
The college has been the setting for both feature films and television programs, including The First Wives Club, The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, Gossip Girl and Law and Order, as well as for commercials, such as those for The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and Nike.
