Lorraine Levy Laighold ’64 is a Certified Financial Planner and has been a financial advisor for 30 years. As a Senior VP-Wealth Management at UBS, her areas of focus are in financial planning, municipal bonds, pension funds and professional money management.
She began her career in finance with E.F. Hutton, then Shearson Lehman Brothers, then to First Vice President Investments at Salomon Smith Barney immediately before coming to UBS. Prior to her career in the financial services industry, Ms. Laighold was a teacher of physically handicapped children. She has a degree from Brooklyn College in Economics, an M.S. in Special Education from Fordham University and an M.A. in Administration from Columbia University.
Ms. Laighold recently funded the Lorraine Laighold Summer Leadership Academy in the Murray Koppelman School of Business. Ms. Laighold has been very active with the Magner Center and her alumni class reunions.
