4: Résumé and Cover Letter Feedback
Your résumé and cover letter are both important documents to use on your job search. Be sure to:
- Review the résumé and cover letter guide.
- Come in during our drop-in hours for one-on-one feedback sessions.
5: Interviewing Skills
Practice your interviewing.
- Review our interview guide and tips.
- Meet with a counselor for a mock interview to develop the skills to ace your upcoming interview.
- Get connected with an alumnus/alumna who works at the company you will be interviewing with by completing the Building Professional Relationships Workshops.

6: Develop Relevant Experience
Complete at least two internships before you graduate.
- Access open positions on HireBC via the career tab on BC WebCentral, attend job fairs, and more.
7: Stipend Award for Unpaid Internship
You can get paid to complete unpaid work that contributes to your career development.
- Deadlines are in October for spring internships and March for summer/fall internships.
- Other organizations that assist students with receiving paid internships.
