During the 2014-15 academic year, I played a leadership role in the job search for a new member of the Economics Department. I served on the Appointments Committee and the Search Committee, reviewed applications during the fall 2014 term, went with another faculty member to the American Economics Association Convention to interview candidates, and helped organize the campus visits of a few candidates and also played a role in the deliberations as the final selection was made. Pedagogical Achievements
I am serving as the supervisor for Fred Gong's senior thesis. He is a Macauley Fellow and is writing a paper that explores whether basketball fans have racial preferences and whether or not this influences the salaries of white players. 2019
I wrote recommendation letters for Milan Matthews. She will enter lhe U. of Chicago in September. 2019
