Paul McCabe's Web site
Paul McCabe is chair of the SPCL department and a professor in the School Psychologist Graduate Program. He is a New York State certified school psychologist, a New York State licensed psychologist and a nationally certified school psychologist. He served as president of the Trainers of School Psychology New York State and the Association of Early Childhood and Infant Psychologists. McCabe serves on the editorial boards of numerous journals and was associate editor of School Psychology Forum. He consults with local, state and national associations and legislators on early childhood education and policy, pediatric issues, and advocacy for LGBTQ youth in school.

Areas of Expertise:
McCabe is considered a specialist in early childhood social, behavioral and language development and concomitant problems. His current research interests include examining the interaction between language impairment and socialization problems in early childhood, pediatric school psychology, and training graduate students and school psychologists to advocate for LGBTQ youth in schools.
