Office of the Associate Vice President for Budget and Planning / Chief Financial Officer

Alan Gilbert was hired as assistant vice president for budget and planning in 2000. He was named assistant vice president for finance, budget and planning / comptroller in 2004 and associate vice president for budget and planning / chief financial officer in 2013. He holds a B.A. in accounting and an M.B.A. in finance from Baruch College.

The mission of the Office of the Associate Vice President for Budget and Planning / Chief Financial Officer is to facilitate the responsible utilization of financial resources in order to achieve the goals of the college as outlined by the Brooklyn College Strategic Plan.
