  • Coordinated B.A.-M.D. Program

    Coordinated B.A.-M.D. Program

    The Coordinated B.A.-M.D. Program is an eight-year program that includes four years of undergraduate study at Brooklyn College, followed by four years of medical school at the SUNY Downstate College of Medicine. This program is designed to expose future physicians to a broad range of disciplines, such as humanities and social sciences, in addition to the required fundamentals of a natural sciences curriculum.

    Macaulay Honors College

    The Macaulay Honors College inspires and prepares high-achieving students to solve the challenges facing New York City, our nation, and the global community. Selected for their academic merit and leadership potential, Macaulay students enroll as undergraduates in one of eight CUNY colleges and take additional courses designed to build critical-thinking skills.

  • Maximizing Access to Research Careers (MARC) Program

    Maximizing Access to Research Careers (MARC) Program

    The Maximizing Access to Research Careers (MARC) Program offers mentoring, research experience, and financial support for juniors and seniors interested in research careers in the biomedical and behavioral sciences. MARC scholars major in biology, chemistry, health and nutrition science, speech and hearing, or psychology with a focus on neurobiology and neuroscience. Students do research apprenticeships on campus and at institutions around the country.

    Mellon Mays Fellowship Program

    The Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellowship is an upper-division honors program. The program offers advisement, guidance and financial assistance to highly qualified juniors and seniors planning to pursue a Ph.D. in specific fields in the humanities and social sciences.  The MMUF program is designed to cultivate high achieving minority students and others with a demonstrated commitment to eradicating racial disparities. The goal of the program is to increase the number of underrepresented minorities on college faculties by supporting minority students of great promise who aspire to academic careers.

    Scholars Program

    Since its founding more than half a century ago, the Scholars Program has been providing education and enlightenment to students in their dedicated pursuit of knowledge and leadership skills. Admitting a select group of academically accomplished, intellectually adventurous, and independently motivated students, the program prepares Scholars to pursue inspiring work, take joy in lifetime learning, and lead successful and meaningful lives.
