Research and Projects

As a part of its mission to contribute to the literature, GLARE faculty is engaged in ongoing research of several key LGBTQ issues in education, including:

  • LGBTQ bias and discrimination
  • Sexism, heterosexism and the construction of gender
  • The intersection of human sexuality and multiple identities
  • LGBTQ issues for urban youth
  • The use of affective education in preparing future teachers and school professionals  for inclusive practice in schools.
