Student with any queries can email the department directly.
Language is the key to successful communication.
Our communication arts, sciences, and disorders department is considered one of the best of its kind in the country. You'll receive the kind of in-depth education needed to be an effective communicator in such fields as finance, management and public relations. In our communication sciences and disorders program, you will be taught to recognize, evaluate, and rehabilitate difficulties with speech and hearing. Through course work, you'll become familiar with theories of language development. You'll also learn about the anatomy, physiology, and neurology that make speech and hearing possible. Through clinical work and internships, you'll work with people of all ages in many different kinds of careers that require expert communication skills, in settings ranging from schools and hospitals to private practice.
