Brooklyn College's summer session is a great opportunity for you to earn additional credits toward your degree and accelerate your path to graduation, or to enhance and expand your education by exploring new areas and fields.

If you are a nondegree or visiting student, you must first apply for admission:

For Brooklyn College students, make sure you register early. Our summer session is divided into two five-week periods:

  • Session 1: June 2 – July 8
  • Session 2: July 14 – Aug. 19

Students can register for classes in either or both sessions. Registration begins March 19.

Financial aid is available for qualified students. For information, contact the Office of Financial Aid.

International Students

Brooklyn College has programs that allow students from outside the United States to engage in course work and experience New York City for a few weeks or a few months. Students can attend for one semester or during the summer as a visiting student. Courses are offered in business, arts and culture, and American studies.
