Aware

Brooklyn College is a diverse community with many offices that support the needs of our various campus constituents. Our new LGBTQ Resource Center offers a number of programs, including a queer book club, a student organized discussion group, internship programs and social mixers. The Women’s Center offers programs that address the emotional, intellectual, physical and financial well being of women on campus. The Veteran Affairs and Counseling Center provides guidance and support services to veterans as they transition to academic and civilian life, including help obtaining federal and state educational benefits and entitlements for which they are eligible. The Center for Student Disability Services ensures the successful integration of students with disabilities into the college community through advocacy and assistance with registration, individual counseling and adaptive equipment. Lastly, our sexual harassment/Title IX and workplace violence prevention programs foster an environment that is safe and inclusive.
