Academic Department Profiles: Seven-Year Trend Reports

The Academic Department Profiles are a set of comprehensive statistical profiles produced by IRDA each year. The Seven-Year Trend reports document total course seat count, total credit hours, number of sections offered, section size, student FTE, faculty FTE, student:faculty FTE ratio, and the number of majors for each department and school. In these reports, courses are associated with the department the faculty member is affiliated with (e.g., if Dr. Smith is a member of the Sociology department, and teaches 3 credits of CHST 2100 (Perspectives on Childhood, a Children and Youth Studies offering), all enrollment indicators (except major counts) are credited to the Sociology department. Only departments are included in this analysis.
