Academic Department Profiles: Seven-Year Trend Reports

The Academic Department Profiles are a set of comprehensive statistical profiles produced by IRDS each year. The Seven-Year Trend reports document total course seat count, total credit hours, number of sections offered, section size, student FTE, faculty FTE, student:faculty FTE ratio, and the number of majors for each department and school. In these reports, courses are associated with the department the faculty member is affiliated with (e.g., if Dr. Smith is a member of the Sociology department, and teaches 3 credits of CHST 2100 (Perspectives on Childhood, a Children and Youth Studies course), all enrollment indicators (except major counts) are credited to the Sociology department. These reports provide data for budgeted academic departments only.

NOTE: This is an archive of the reports that were completed in the past. However, the reports on this page are no longer the domain of the Office of Institutional Research and Data Science (IRDS). If you have a data need that IRDS might be able to help you with, please complete a data request form.
