Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS)

The Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS) is a series of surveys Brooklyn College completes for the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES). The Higher Education Act of 1965, as amended, requires that institutions that participate in federal student aid programs report data on enrollments, program completions, graduation rates, faculty and staff, finances, institutional prices, and student financial aid. In compliance, Brooklyn College reports these figures to IPEDS at various times throughout the year.
NCES uses all this data for its easy-to-use College Navigator page, where you can look up key information about nearly any US institution of higher learning.
