CUNY Baccalaureate Alumni SurveyThe CUNY Baccalaureate Alumni Survey was administered by the CUNY Office of Institutional Research and Assessment (OIRA) in the Spring of 2010. Input on the content of questions and procedure for administration was provided by representatives of the CUNY colleges, including Brooklyn College. The survey asked a very detailed set of questions of alumni who had graduated with a bachelor’s degree in the 2007 Academic Year. As with the Recent Graduate Surveys administered by Brooklyn College, current job and educational status as well as an evaluation of the Brooklyn College experience were provided. The CUNY Baccalaureate Alumni Survey differs from the Recent Graduate Survey in a few key ways. First, it was administered several years after graduation, thereby getting a better sense of the long-term benefits of completing a baccalaureate degree at Brooklyn College. Second, the items address a more detailed set of characteristics of the current employment circumstances of our alumni. The two surveys combine to provide a clearer image of our students’ experiences after graduation. |
