Susan Longtin is a faculty member of the Department of Communicaton Arts and Sciences. Longtin is a licensed certified speech language pathologist with more than 30 years of experience in clinical and educational settings. She teaches courses in language development, language disorders in children and clinical methods. She developed, implemented and evaluated a communication enhancement program for parents of preschool children with autism. Her research interests include early communication development, autism spectrum disorders and parent education. She is Hanen certified to conduct parent education programs.
