Mitchell Langbert is an associate professor of business at Brooklyn College. Professor Langbert worked for 10 years for several Fortune-listed firms and for the New York State Assembly Ways and Means Committee. His research has focused on human resource management, business ethics, and higher education issues. He has studied policy implications of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974, human resource education, issues pertaining to university trustees and university governance, and intellectual diversity. Langbert has published articles in Academic Questions, Econ Journal Watch, Academy of Management Learning and Education Journal, Journal of Economic Issues, Journal of Labor Research, Journal of Business Ethics, Benefits Quarterly, and Human Resource Management Journal. He has served as an expert witness in several human resource cases, including In re Tittle et al. v. Enron et. al.
