Mitchell Langbert is an associate professor of business and deputy chairman for business at Brooklyn College. Langbert worked for 10 years for several Fortune-listed firms and for the New York State Assembly ways and means committee. His research has focused on human resource management. He has studied policy implications of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 on human resource education and on issues pertaining to university trustees and university governance. Langbert has published articles in Academic Questions, Academy of Management Learning and Education Journal, Journal of Economic Issues, Journal of Labor Research, Journal of Business Ethics, Human Resource Management Journal and Yale Economic Review. He has served as an expert witness in several human resource cases, including In re Tittle et al. v. Enron et. al.
