Christian Grov joined Brooklyn College in 2008 and was dually appointed to the Graduate Center's Doctoral Program in Public Health in 2011. He received postdoctoral training at the National Development and Research Institutes. He has been collaborating with the Center for HIV/AIDS Educational Studies and Training since 2003 and working in HIV prevention since 1999. Grov has expertise in research methods and sampling hard-to-reach populations. He teaches Biostatistics, Human Sexuality, and Research Methods. He has an active research program in the areas of sexuality and HIV. He is principal investigator on a three-year NIH-funded (NIGMS/NIAID) study longitudinally tracking the sexual behavior of gay and bisexual men recruited online, in bars/clubs, and via sex parties. In addition, he is co-principal investigator on 4.5 NIH study following highly sexually active gay and bisexual men.
