Christian Grov joined Brooklyn in 2008 and was cross-appointed to the Graduate Center's DPH program in 2011. He received postdoctoral training at the National Development and Research Institutes (2006-2007), been collaborating with the Center for HIV/AIDS Educational Studies and Training since 2003, and working in HIV prevention since 1999. Grov has an active research program in the areas of sexuality and HIV. He is Principal Investigator (PI) on a 5-year NIH/NIDA study of HIV risk and resilience in a U.S. sample of men who have sex with men. He is PI on a 2-year NIH/NIDA study of PrEP adherence among gay and bisexual men, and PI on a 1-year CDC study to develop an updated measure of seroadaptive behaviors in light of new biomedical HIV prevention strategies
