Fay Gartenberg

Fay Gartenberg is a freelance assistant editor and video editor based primarily in NYC. She is drawn to character-driven, psychologically-rich narratives and stories that engage the perspectives and experiences of underrepresented subjects. Her most recent credits include assistant editor on "Stockton On My Mind", a feature documentary streaming on HBO about the groundbreaking initiatives of Stockton, California's millennial mayor, Michael Tubbs, and editor on an episode of "Half Life", a TV series produced by New York City Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment. She got her start in editing while facilitating video and animation projects in the creative arts therapy department at Mount Sinai Kravis Children's Hospital and has been fascinated by efforts to bridge creative/expressive arts and therapeutic concepts in her editing work and vice versa. She recently completed her MFA in Post-Production at Feirstein Graduate School of Cinema.
