Florence Rubinson is a professor and chair of the Department of School Psychology, Counseling, and Leadership. Rubinson is a New York and New Jersey State certified school psychologist, and a New York State licensed psychologist. As a founding member of the Association of Early Childhood and Infant Psychologists, she served as president from 2002 to 2004 and continues to serve on various committees within the organization. In 2007, Rubinson became president of the School Psychology Division of the New York State Psychological Association. She is the associate editor of the Journal of Early Childhood and Infant Psychology, published by Pace Press. She is proud to be a founding and executive board member of the GLBT Advocacy and Research in Education (GLARE), a committee in the School of Education.
