Department requirements (36 credits)

All of the following: Television, Radio & Emerging Media 1165, 2222W, 2265, 2420, 2616, 4430W.
Two of the following: Television, Radio & Emerging Media 3040, 3661, 3662, 3663, 3782, 3841, 3861, 3871, 3881, 3951.
Two of the following: Television, Radio & Emerging Media: 2160, 2221, 2615, 2726W, 3190, 3223, 3232, 3261, 3434, 3481, 3482, 3535, 3537, 3564, 3565, 3953.
One of the following: Television, Radio & Emerging Media 4561, 4728, 4782, 4824, 4827, 4850, 4862, 4881, 4925.
Six additional credits in TV, Radio & Emerging Media courses numbered 2000 and higher.
An additional nine credits of coursework in any department of the students' choosing (including TV, Radio & Emerging Media.) Credits outside the Department of TV, Radio & Emerging Media must be approved by TV, Radio & Emerging Media Faculty. Students may count courses taken for a minor outside of the department for this requirement.
Students may not offer more than six credits for a baccalaureate degree from Television, Radio & Emerging Media 4175, 4176, 4177, 4578 and 4870.
The department chair may, with the approval of the chair of the department's undergraduate curriculum committee, allow substitutions for one or more required classes consistent with the educational goals of the program.
All the required courses used to meet these degree requirements must be completed with a grade of C or higher.
A student may not enroll for a third time in any course in which s/he has twice received a grade of C or lower or the administrative grades of W or WU. An exception may be made following written appeal to the Department Chair, but only if a student can establish changed circumstances that would permit satisfactory performance in the course.
