Dorothy Neave-DiToro, Au.D. is an Associate Professor and is currently serving as the Acting Executive Officer and Co-Clinical Coordinator of CUNY Graduate Center Audiology Doctoral (Au.D.) Program. Dr. Neave-DiToro teaches courses at the undergraduate and graduate level and supervises the CUNY Graduate Center audiology doctoral students at the Brooklyn College campus clinic.

Areas of Expertise:
Perform evidence-based audiological diagnostic tests, counseling and remediation to hearing impaired individuals and their families. Recommend and dispense hearing aids and assistive listening devices.

Invited faculty expert consultant for the CUNY Office of Academic Affairs, (2015-2016, $20,000 grant) project "Design, Development and Implementation of an Interprofessional Education (IPE) Program." Co-investigators: Michael Bergen and Elaine Geller. Curriculum in IPE is being developed as the result of this grant. This project represents a collaborative effort with regional graduate Programs in speech-language pathology, audiology, early childhood and special education, physical therapy, occupational therapy, health and nutrition, nursing, psychology and social work. Invited experts will be recorded and it is expected that the video will be will have utility in classes, online, and/or for workshops, and could be used by those both in and outside of CSD. AUD 77801: Topics in Audiology-Hearing Aid Laboratory. Developed and taught course instructing doctoral students with regards to hearing aid evaluations, selection and fitting of hearing aids, electroacoustic checks and real ear measurements. Fall. 2013

Organized and led in-service, tour and hearing screening program for high school students from underrepresented backgrounds in healthcare to expose students to careers in communication sciences and disorders 2019
