Sharon Beaumont-Bowman spent the first 14 years of practice in the medical setting. She received her clinical doctorate in 2008, with her dissertation focusing on dysphagia and the tracheostomy. She has developed an in/outpatient FEES clinic and continues to practice with both the pediatric and adult population. Beaumont-Bowman joined the Brooklyn College faculty full-time in 2011 and was granted Board Recognition in Swallowing in 2012.
