Ken Estey is an assistant professor in studies in religion. The author of A New Protestant Labor Ethic at Work, his research centers on the intersection of politics and religion with a particular focus on labor and Christianity. His forthcoming book, Labor Evangelicals: Faith, Authority and Resistance at Work (Palgrave Macmillan, 2015) will be a study of evangelicals who belong to labor unions. The coordinator for the Studies in Religion Program at Brooklyn College (2008-13), he currently serves as the internship coordinator for the Political Science Department. He is co-chair of the Class, Religion and Theology Group at the American Academy of Religion.
