Areas of Expertise:
Steinberg works on various aspects of Benedict de Spinoza's philosophy, while also maintaining interests in moral psychology, political philosophy, and normative ethics. He has written two books: Spinoza's Political Psychology (Cambridge, 2018) and Spinoza (with V. Viljanen) (Polity, 2020). He is currently editing a collection of essays on humility and is co-editor (with Karolina Hübner) of The Cambridge Spinoza Lexicon. See https://www.justinsteinberg.net/
