Helen Georgas is a reference librarian and bibliographer for American Studies, English, Modern Languages & Literatures, Performance & Interactive Media Arts (PIMA) and Theater.

Her recent writing has focused on art, culture and performance.
Her academic research on the research habits of undergraduate students and the impact of ebooks on library culture has been published in numerous academic journals.
She also serves as editor for Underwater New York, a digital platform for creative work inspired by the waters of New York City. Underwater New York's most recent issue - Byways: Three Artists on Brooklyn's Black Waterfront - was published in Spring 2022.
