I hold a doctorate from the University of Colorado, an undergraduate degree from Yeshiva University (NYC), and am a certified public accountant. I have recently published on bank accounting and regulation, on transparency in government budgets, and how business schools can better teach business ethics. I have taught at Brooklyn College since 2013. I have lived, worked, and traveled extensively throughout North America and the world. Now that I am more sedentary, I like to read in my spare time; as of September 2016 the following three books lay on my night table: ?Alibaba - The House That Jack Ma Built? By Duncan Clark; ?Encyclopedia of Islam? By Juan Eduardo Campo; and ?Your Baby & Child from Birth to Age Five? By Penelope Leach (I have a two-year old son).
