Rona Miles is a licensed psychologist who began teaching for the Psychology Department in 2000 as an adjunct instructor and became a full-time Lecturer in 2010 and Assistant Professor in 2018. Dr. Miles teaches various classes including Psychological Disorders, Theories and Techniques of Counseling, and Family Psychology at the undergraduate level, and Psychopathology and Counseling Internship at the graduate level. She is the deputy director of the Graduate Program in Mental Health Counseling, where she is involved in the admissions process and mentoring and training of MHC students. She is the recipient of the Brooklyn College 2013 Award for Excellence in Teaching for a full-time faculty member and the 2021 Award for Outstanding Graduate Student Mentoring.
