EESC 1010 The Dynamic Earth
3 hours; 3 credits
Introduction to Earth science; NYC-focused, thematic examples of interaction between Earth?s spheres, including plate tectonics; deep time; Earth materials and processes as resources and hazards; human interactions with the Earth system. Satisfies Pathways Flexible Core Scientific World requirement. (Not open to students who are enrolled or have completed CORC 1332.)
