Job Description
The video production intern will be able to multi‐task and work creatively and collaboratively with the DSS creative team on various platforms (e.g., GoogleOnsignage.com, HRA Internet and Intranet, social platforms, and YouTube). The intern will be asked to write, shoot, edit, post, and assist in the production of pre-produced video projects.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in all aspects of video production
- Shoot and edit videos
- Produce and edit videos using Adobe Premiere and Final Cut Pro
- Design and animate motion graphics
- Work with writers and designers to develop and produce external and internal video marketing content
- Willing to learn new programs, such as GoogleOnsignage.com
Job Qualifications
- Strong editing skills on Adobe Premiere and Final Cut Pro (experience with After Effects a plus)
- Proficient in production work: direction, videography, lighting, sound recording
- Current student majoring in video, journalism, or related field
- Understanding of video storytelling as it relates to various platform, such as GoogleOnsignage.com for TV, Internet, and social media platforms
- Comfort with DSLR Video photography as well as other video cameras
- Ability to multitask under severe deadlines
- Superb written and verbal communications skills

Qualifications
- Be a current CUNY registered undergraduate or graduate student.
- Be authorized to work under INS laws at on‐campus jobs.
- Have taken at least two semesters of STEM-related courses or have related work experience.
- Be available to work at least 15 hours per week during the school year and breaks, and commit to the duration of the internship opportunity.
